Are you an experienced senior Finance professional in the Charity sector looking for an interim contract in a rapidly growing organisation? My client is a national charity based in London that has grown substantially during lockdown and is envisaging further growth. Owing to an upcoming change in structure, an Interim Director of Finance and Resources is sought for an initial six-month contract,reporting directly to the Chief Executive, with key responsibilities as follows:

- Leading a finance team of four in the day to day running of finance in a high volume transactional environment
- Focusing on processes and procedures, ensuring that finance is operating as effectively as possible to respond to the changing needs of the organisation
- Leading the Business Partnering strategy by engaging with budget holders to provide budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Reviewing management accounts and preparing monthly packs to be delivered to SMT and the Board
- Oversee other corporate functions such as IT and Facilities, though both of these functions have a dedicated and competent manager.

The offices are based in London and this role would balance office and home working on a 60/40 split. Success in the role will be measured by the interim Director of Finance and Resources ensuring stable and confident leadership to the team, without a dipin service coming from Finance during the period of change.

To be considered, please meet these criteria:

- Be a fully qualified accountant, who is familiar and confident in leadership roles in the Charity sector
- Be comfortable in environments with complex funding arrangements and high volumes of transactions, ideally within charitable organisations of turnover larger than £5m
- Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal
