Senior Behavioural Science Specialists - Public Health Wales

**Location/base**: Location to be agreed

Both posts will be in the newly established Behavioural Science Unit, working with a dynamic and dedicated team - one post will complement the work of the Health Protection Division, Training and Guidance Team, with responsibilities include developing and delivering behaviourally informed guidance and training across the Division and wider public health services. This work will be critical in protecting individuals, groups and populations from infectious diseases, incidents and outbreaks, as well as non-infectious environmental hazards. The other post will focus on changing transport behaviour, through shaping initiatives and developing services based on behavioural science principles; reviewing existing activity and investment using behaviour change approaches to maximise impact; and growing TfW’s capability to support this shift, building on existing training, information provision and cultural integration of behaviour change across the organisation.

Applicants must have the ability to respond innovatively in a dynamic and expanding field of work and will need excellent demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
