Science Technician – Enfield – September 2025

Science Technician – What the Role Involves

  • Preparing, maintaining, and organising laboratory equipment and materials for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, including correct storage and handling of chemicals and equipment
  • Supporting teachers during practical experiments, setting up demonstrations, and clearing down after lessons
  • Monitoring and ordering stock, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all lab spaces are clean, safe, and ready for lessons
  • Assisting with practical work preparation, demonstrations, and enabling students to engage fully in lab-based learning

Science Technician – What the School is Looking For
We seek a proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills and a passion for science and technical work. Previous experience in a school or lab environment is desirable but not essential. Good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to learn are essential.   • Salary: per week, depending on experience
  • Contract: 1-Year, Full-time to term-time
