This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated team inspecting 3rd party plumbing systems to prevent the waste, misuse, erroneous measurement, undue consumption and contamination of the drinking water supply.

As the Regulator, you will play an essential part in helping the company to engage directly with the owner/occupiers of premises regarding poor plumbing practices whilst ensuring compliance with the Water Fittings Regulations are met. The significance of the work you will undertake as an advisor involves the planning and scheduling of work for our plumbing inspectors which makes this role such an exciting and unique opportunity.

You’ll also be responsible for engaging directly with our internal and external stakeholders through verbal and written communication formats, managing the teams proactive work streams, answering telephone enquiries, processing documentation, entering information onto our Regulatory reporting systems and scheduling customer appointments.

The key accountabilities of this role will include:
- Take ownership in the day-to-day planning of proactive work streams to ensure the team’s performance remains on-track against internal targets.
- Update our Regulatory reporting database and company systems.
- Support the team with the day-to-day administration of the WaterMark approved contractor’s scheme.
- Maintain the companies RPZ Valve and WaterMark approved contractor databases.
- Carry out GSS audits and Update Company excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to follow processes, procedures and adhoc requests as directed by the Water Fittings Regulations Manager.
- Provision to develop and provide technical support to colleagues, customers and internal/external bodies.
- Ability to take ownership and know when to escalate matters related directly to the non-compliance of work streams.
