On behalf of **Government Legal Department**, we are looking for a **HR Specialist - (Inside IR35)** for a **4 month** contract working on a hybrid basis with **60% attendance in either London or Leeds office sites**

GLD are looking for an interim HR Operations Manager to join our in-house HR Operations Team for 6 months. As well as leading on our employee benefits offer, you will support our Head of Payroll and coordinate a number of exciting new initiatives we have planned.

The HR Operations Team provide in-house HR, payroll and pension services to over 3,000 GLD, Attorney General’s Office (AGO) and Her Majesty’s Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCSPI) staff and is the first point of contact for all HR queries, responding to around 2000 enquires a month via Service Now and our the HR Helpline.

As an** HR Specialist - (Inside IR35**), your main responsibilities will be:

- You will work with HR colleagues to help deliver their priorities
- Provide accurate and compliant payroll and payroll services
- Provide efficient and high-quality HR help to GLD employees
- Work in partnership with third-party providers to deliver high quality specialist HR services and employee benefits
- Improve digital HR user journeys and optimise our use of digital platforms to increase efficiency and self-service

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Manage GLD’s Employee Benefits offer, including:

- Manage GLD’s childcare salary sacrifice and cycle to work schemes, including liaising with key stakeholders and validating and processing monthly orders and payroll change
- Launch our new dental and health check plans
- Encourage greater take up of available offers from GLD staff
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with Edenred on behalf of GLD
- Support the Head of Payroll and Pensions by:

- Monitor Employer Pension Notices and communicate key information to staff

Working with HR Operations colleagues and delivery partners to coordinate a range of projects aimed at improving the delivery of our digital HR services, including:

- A Government People Group led Process Mining exercise to identify inefficient processes within Service Now and MyHR
- Migration onto an upgraded Service Now platform

- Exceptional Communication Skills
- Project support experience including action planning and risk management
- Stakeholder engagement experience
- A comprehensive understanding of the employee lifecycle and associated HR policies and processes
- Experience of using, and understanding of, digital platforms (HCM/ERP/Service Now or similar) to deliver HR services to employees
- Self-motivated individual with a passion for championing continuous improvement, who is comfortable working with mínimal supervision and pro-active in identifying priority work
