We are seeking dedicated evening/ sleeping night support workers to provide support for vulnerable young care leavers and helping them reach their full potential. You will be required to work within a semi independence setting where young people share accommodation. We aim to provide a secure environment that will support young people to ensure they receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs. The primary objective is to enable our young people to become emotionally stable and self-reliant in order to live independently.

**Experience**:
This role requires a transferable and an enhanced DBS with experience of working within a supported living environment
- Ideally applicants must have experience of working in partnership with Local Authorities and Health/Social Care professionals

**Qualifications or Training**:
NVQ Level L3 - Health & Social Care/Children & Young People's Workforce or similar (preferred)

**Skills**:

- Team worker
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- IT literate (word, excel etc)
- Experience in working with/supporting young people in care
- To be able to work alone with minimum supervision confidently
- Must be flexible with regards to availability
- Be professional & have understanding of ethics & boundaries
- Need to ensure the safety of the service users & the building
- Duties will include working within a team supporting young people in their accommodation. Some shifts will include sleep
- ins and weekends.
- You must have a positive attitude to working and be able to build solid professional relationships with our young people.

**Pay rate: £10.50 per hour; set night rate (10pm - 7am): £40**
