What you’ll be doing as our Head of Marketing
Fortress was founded over 40 years ago and is on an upward growth trajectory - the business is enjoying 30% YoY growth in recent years across world territories including US, APAC and Europe. The business is now investing heavily in Marketing, with the next hires being a Head of Marketing, CRM Lead and Content Manager to lead and drive significantly heavier weight campaigns for the brand portfolio and to support all channel partners.
The Head of Marketing will be joining the company as it enters a critical phase of accelerated growth and, as part of the Global Commercial team, you’ll play a pivotal role in devising and delivering a fully integrated Marketing strategy. The plan will operate end-to-end and help deliver outstanding customer experience.
Reporting to the Global CMO, the Head of Marketing will collaborate closely with colleagues leading Sales and Product teams to ensure synchronised GTM strategies.
An outstanding orchestrator and director of marketing plans, you will bring both rigor and creativity to the team. You will inspire a team of junior experts and role model brilliant marketing. Along with leading the marketing team to their highest performing best, you will partner closely with our network of channel players globally, to serve up effective sales and marketing packages.
The Head of Marketing will play a crucial role in leading and inspiring a team of 8 (and growing) in the UK, and will work closely with stakeholders in the Product team, Safety team, Sales team, and a network of hundreds of channel partners, over the world.
What experience you’ll need to apply
Proven track record in a Head of Marketing role or similar
Strong B2B Marketing background
Expertise across Demand Gen, Channel/Partner marketing, CRM, social media and Content for storytelling, exhibitions, and trade PR would be ideal.
Experience working for a leading, B2B brand with a global customer base would be highly desirable
Fundamentally, we need somebody who knows what high-energy marketing looks like, and somebody who is excited by taking all of their experience to build a Marketing strategy that will really deliver.
Analytical and data-driven - up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Team Player - able to provide input into a multifunctional team and contribute to the culture of the team and business
