This position plays an important role in the work of the Community Planning Team working alongside the Community Empowerment Officer, Senior Community Council Liaison Officer, Community Council Liaison Officer and Community Planning Team Leader. The key areas of work that this role covers are:

- Supporting the work of the Community Planning Partnership Board, including leading on the delivery of the Annual Performance Report and monitoring of Local Outcomes Improvement Plan
- Supporting action around the Cost of Living, including Period Dignity and Transformation Project
- Retaining oversight of Community Planning related policy developments
- Monitoring and reporting on performance management information
- Reviewing and analysing relevant statistical data
- Drafting reports to appropriate Council committees
- Contributing to broader Team activities including Community Investment Fund

**The Individual**:
We are looking for a proactive and positive person to join the small Community Planning Team. The key attributes we are seeking include:

- Knowledge and experience of Community Planning and the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act
- Strong customer service skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Knowledge and experience of analysing and interpreting policy developments and data sets
- Experience of preparing reports and other media for varied audiences, including community members and elected members
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and work at pace to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
