Operations Director

Due to continued growth and development we are looking for an Operations Director - New Business Implementation - to provide dedicated operational leadership and input to the various projects in the Implementation Programme.
You’ll be accountable for the Operations work stream enabling the smooth transition from implementation to business as usual (Operations/Customer). This will include solutions review, team engagement, due diligence, TUPE, conducting budget and service deliveryspecifications, recruitment, and briefings.As an active member of the Implementation Team you’ll be supporting and challenging, working with the cross-functional SMEs and wider stakeholders, internally and externally. Leadership skills will be crucial inensuring operational teams are engaged throughout and bought in to operational solutions up to and including sign off.
**Operations Director Responsibilities include:**:

- Maintain a link between the Project/Programme Management team and the BAU Operations Director and Network Leadership Team from project inception through design, build, test, and deploy stages of each project
- Lead each project with solutions capable of achieving agreed Operational and Financial KPI’s
- Support in creating and documenting the standard playbook for all new business
- Ensure whole team compliance with all Project and Programme Management requirements, in terms of processes, standards, timelines, artefacts, reports etc.
- Facilitate Ops Work stream meetings and act as the conduit to the Operations Steering Board Member
- Create and contribute to documentation, papers, artefacts, presentations etc
- Work inside of Unipart’s PDS (Project Delivery System) for the duration of the Project Lifecycles
- Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, PMO, Implementation SMEs, Functional Heads, and external stakeholders

**Operations Director Requirements**:

- With a strong track record in change management you will be experienced in change management processes including TUPE, redundancy, restructures
- You will be impactful and highly influential with experience of leading a team and strong people management skills
- Proven logistics operations leader at General Manager level, building strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Success in the role will see you having experience of lean / Continuous Improvement techniques

**Location**: Nuneaton - can be based at any of our Unipart sites / field based
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, 40 per week
**Salary**: up to £107,000 per annum plus car / car allowance
