**Job Title**: HR Administrator

**Nature of Job**: Full-time

**Location**: Kidderminster (base) - **This is an on-site, office-based role.**

**Responsible to**: HR Manager

**Purpose of Role**:
To provide professional, reliable and efficient HR administrative support to the business, working with the wider HR team to deliver outstanding service and seek to identify areas for continuous improvement.

**The Role and Opportunity**:
Supporting the HR Manager and Head of HR, you will be responsible for providing professional, reliable and efficient HR administrative support. You’ll work with the wider team that includes payroll and training, have ideas to improve ways of working and a mindset of simplification and adding value to the business. Undertaking all aspects of HR administration and data management, you will also be responsible for coordinating various HR activities (such as recruitment, onboarding and appraisals), liaising with the appropriate people, and assisting with projects. Working within a busy deadline-driven environment, the ability to prioritise and plan effectively, managing multiple tasks, is a key requisite.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To undertake all aspects of HR administration in accordance with procedures, including but not limited to the processing of joiners, leavers, internal changes, maternity, absence, benefits and areas of compliance.
- To promptly maintain all HR data, records and information/systems, communicating with key stakeholders as necessary, and producing relevant reports/analysis.
- To produce a range of correspondence including contracts and HR letters.
- To oversee recruitment and onboarding administration, through advertising vacancies, sifting applicants, arranging interviews/formal offers, reference checks and induction planning.
- To assist in the effective management of resourcing across the firm.
- To coordinate appraisals and learning/development activity, maintaining records.
- To provide basic HR policy and best practice advice, helping resolve and escalate appropriate level enquiries/matters.
- To support the coordination of staff surveys including collation, analysis and evaluation of responses.
- To participate in project work that adds values to the business and put forward suggestions for HR service/process improvement.
- To work closely with the HR Manager and team to achieve the department’s objectives, including other tasks commensurate to the role.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- We want to hear from experienced HR Administrators, ideally in the professional services sector, looking to grow their talent and who potentially aspire to become a HR Advisor.
- IT literate, a good grasp of technology and ability to analyse/manipulate data.
- Experience of working in a similar HR role/environment essential (preferably in Law or professional services)
- A collaborative team player. Willing to learn, is driven and motivated by goals. Puts own ideas forward.
- Strong interpersonal skills (all methods of communication) and able to influence.
- Pragmatic and a good sense of client service.
- Understands and applies the principles of GDPR and confidentiality.
- Adaptable and flexible. Organised with the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload. Attention to detail.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
