AJ Chambers are working with a long standing law firm who have an exciting offering for a HR Administrator to join the busy and supportive HR Team in Ipswich.

The role will provide admin provision and query management of the following activities in relation to the day to day running of the HR Function, including:
**New Starters**
- Draft employment contracts for junior staff members
- Employment vetting checks, including references, SRA checks and right to work

**Cascade (HR System)**
- Prepare reports for holiday, cancel /amend holiday requests
- Log sickness and ensure completion of employee certification process
- Ad-hoc reports as necessary

**Leavers**
- Assist HR Officers with the leaver process to ensure that the information is processed in a timely manner
- Respond to all employer reference requests.

**General**
- Make-up and maintain electronic employee files and archive when appropriate
- Provide administrative support on HR projects as required
- Administration of the firms benefits for car park, eye care, gym membership and season ticket loans
- Production of scheduled and ad hoc letters e.g. probation confirmation, ad hoc award letters
- Assist with the administrative elements of our Trainee Solicitor training programme e.g. collating new starter information, processing 6 monthly team changes

This list is not exhaustive and the duties may vary from time to time, according to circumstances.
