Job Title: General HR Administrator - 12 month Fixed Term Contract for maternity leave cover
Reporting to: Company Directors
Hours: Ideally full Time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Benefits: Health Care cash plan scheme (with Healthshield) after successful probationary period
Contributory Pension
Holiday: 21 days plus 8 bank holidays
Location: Home based / Home office, with very occasional travel to Ransomes Europark, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9FJ
Equipment: Computer and mobile telephone (for work use only)
**Responsibilities**:
The post holder may undertake a range of tasks depending upon the requirements of the team. These may include:
- take detailed notes during client calls to create clear file notes for Director’s to pick up
- to build a positive relationship with clients and suppliers
- to provide clerical support for the team
- to manage team calendar on excel
- data inputting
- to organise and manage electronic filing system
- to maintain electronic HR ‘to do’ board
- to note take at internal HR meetings
- to support with the Company’s social media postings
- to complete and reconcile monthly client time recording spreadsheets and notify clients of usage under the direction of the Company Directors
- compile letters, agendas, and meeting notes from templates for client meetings
- maintain and update electronic personnel files for clients.
- to maintain HR control spreadsheet for clients including Offer Letters/ Contract of Employment, probation dates, fixed term periods, trial periods, maternity and produce documentation.
- to develop a good working knowledge of the Company’s systems and procedures and to be able to use them efficiently and accurately under the direction of the Company Directors
- to promote a positive image of the Company at all times

**Education & Qualifications**
Essential: Educated to at least GCSE Standard including maths and English
Desirable: Part HR Qualified, Level 3
**Specialist Knowledge & Skills**
Essential: Proven background in administration support. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word
Desirable: An understanding of a HR and/or consultancy environment
**General Work Skills**
Essential:Good time management. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication verbal and written.
**Personal Qualities**
Essential:Ability to work alone as well as part of a team. Reliable. Confident. Keen to Learn

**Salary**: £21,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
