**Customer Service Assistant (Entry Level)**
Tom Schneider is a leading British design studio specialising in stunning high-end designer furniture. Based in our London office, next to our beautiful showroom and supported by European workshops, we are passionate about crafting and delivering handmade designer furniture to a diverse clientele, including the public, retailers, interior designers, and architects. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the day-to-day operations of our business. This is an entry-level role with potential for growth.

**Primary Objectives**:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business to assume higher responsibilities over time.
- Provide coverage for team roles during absences, ensuring continuity and efficiency.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Liaise with showroom customers face-to-face, assisting them with enquiries and providing guidance on products.
- Assist customers through the ordering process, offering guidance and advice in person and over the phone.
- Manage order updates, enquiries, and general office administration tasks.
- Collaborate with the team on ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Clear and fluent English, both spoken and written, is highly essential.
- Professional, confident, and approachable manner.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with CRM systems, Shopify, Xero.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
**Working Hours**:
Standard working hours are 9 am to 5 pm, five days a week. Saturday working is required. To be discussed and commence upon the completion of training.

**Salary Range**: Competitive Salary (DOE)

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative: 2 years (required)
