**What to expect**:
As a ESG Advisor you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role, the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance Advisor)**at the Post Office plays a crucial role in driving the organisation's sustainability and ethical practices. This position is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategies that align with the Post Office's commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and robust governance. The ESG Advisor will work closely with various departments to ensure that sustainability initiatives are integrated into all aspects of the business. This role is pivotal in enhancing the Post Office's reputation as a responsible corporate citizen and in meeting the growing expectations of stakeholders, including customers, employees, and government. The ESG Advisor will report to the Head of ESG.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Strong understanding of ESG principles and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Professional qualifications in ESG or related disciplines will be beneficial but not essential.
- Experienced in a sustainability or ESG-related role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing ESG strategies.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to ESG.
- Experience in conducting ESG assessments and audits.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong data processing and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using sustainability reporting software and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to think strategically and drive change.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
