Our client, a fast growing global company is seeking a London based ESG Consultant who will report to the Group HR Director and Global CEO. You will help lead the transition to a Net Zero strategy for the purpose of achieving a Sustainable Future for the business.

This role requires for you to work with global partners and group functions, to set policies, initiatives, goals and targets, drive progress and report against those plans.

Key Skills
- Knowledge and experience in global environmental standards and framework.
- In depth understanding of ESG to be able to perform ESG framework reporting, maintaining ESG data inventory and ESG gap analysis.
- In conjunction with external advisors and our Group General Counsel define the group's Net Zero transition plan with defined scientific based targets, Sustainable Future initiatives, policies and guidelines to achieve targets and implementation plan.
- Perform strong quantitative research and analysis to track targets for internal and external reporting.

Abilities
- Ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Establish and lead cross-functional working groups to coordinate and support successful outcomes and objectives.
- Proven analytical capability and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated specialisation in the ESG field and shown ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Strong writing style to create compelling communications for both internal and external audiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute an overall program management (PMO) and change management strategy related to business initiatives/process changes required to support our Net Zero and Sustainable Future plans.
- Supporting development of our client external ESG & Responsible Business narrative, including data collation and management and annual reporting disclosures with support from Group Finance, including reporting on progress towards UN SDGs.
- Supporting the development of progress reporting materials for the SMT and Main Board.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in corporate sustainability.
- Experience in designing and redesigning an ESG program.
- Bachelor's Degree - Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent.
