The Civils Works Alliance (CWA) are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our ESG team as an ESG Compliance and Reporting Advisor.
At CWA, we’re proud to be part of the groundbreaking Sizewell C project — a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. This isn’t just any construction project; Sizewell C is set to deliver reliable, clean energy for at least 60 years, making a vital contribution to the UK’s sustainable energy future.
In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and driving our ESG compliance and auditing strategy across the Civils Works Alliance. You’ll work closely with our project teams, regulators, and supply chain partners to ensure we meet the highest standards in environmental, social, and governance practices. Your expertise will help us embed continual improvement, align with ISO standards, and champion sustainability across one of the UK’s most important infrastructure projects.
**To succeed here, you’ll need**:
Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on ESG or environmental and sustainability compliance
Strong communication skills that allow you to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office and experience implementing ISO 14001 or similar standards
A proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement and share best practices
Ability to foster positive working relationships internally and externally, supporting knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement
