Sales Office Administrator

We are currently working with a regional specialist in the design, specification, supply and maintenance of passenger, goods and platform lifts in the Southeast of England. They are actively seeking to grow their Platform Lift Division via the means of anoffice based Sales Office Administrator to work from their Head Office in Aylesford.
The role will involve;
- Reporting to the Platform and Industrial Lifts Sales Manager and the Sales Director.
- Administrating prospect client documentation and quotations for the Sales Manager.
- Administration of prospective quotes and downloading information from supplier online portals.
- Keeping of prospect and job clients documentation, information files up to date on our in-house operating data base.
- Keeping sales performance records and prospects for Sales Manager and Sales Director ongoing analysis.
- Communicating with clients, suppliers and Project Managers for the smooth operation of the sales, buying and installation processes.
- The booking in of projects and jobs - liaison with Project Managers.
- Administration of job folders and documentation for conformity of each new installation.
- Recording and saving documents to job files
- Communicating with suppliers for delivery dates, parts and materials.
- Warranty returns and claims registrations to suppliers.
- Chasing deliveries of materials and installation program dates, liaising with clients or Project Managers.
- Answering of Company in-house telephones for incoming prospects and customer services, allocating to appropriate persons.
- Supporting the Sales Office and general office duties where appropriate as part of the office team.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have;
- Good IT skills, along with experience in working with Office, Outlook, Microsoft Excel and other supplier portal based operating systems.
- Good skills in mathematics, English language and reading, being able to read drawings is a distinct advantage but not essential, as training will be given.
- Excellent, positive customer service communication skills.
- Good time keeper, reliable and have strong disposition to cope well under pressure and dealing with customer queries.
- Office administration ability for keeping of data and files up to date and secure.
- Some understanding and an interest in mechanical or electrical engineering, knowledge of platform lifts would be a distinct advantage.
- A sales motivated experience business to business and general public.
- A positive working attitude to succeed and motivated to improve their career opportunities and progression.
This role is offering the following remuneration package;
- A basic salary of £25,000 per annum.
- An incentive performance related scheme, after 6 month probation period.
- 25 days' annual leave, plus Bank Holidays.
- 1 extra day annual leave annually, for Birthday.
- Sick pay, at the Manager's discretion.
- A company pension scheme.
