Sales Administrator

We are currently working with an Engineering Specialist based in Aylesford, Kent who are actively seeking a Sales Administrator to join their Support Team in providing administrative assistance to their Internal Sales Team.
The role of the Sales Administrator will involve;
- Answering incoming calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Accurately processing orders, quotes and following up on initial quotations.
- Filing and processing all customer documentation and sensitive information.
- Pro-actively recommending products and services needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve sales, working to meet a target.
- Promoting the company's services and products to new and existing customers to increase department revenue on occasion.
- Liaising with colleagues to obtain information to provide excellent customer service.
- Proactively contacting customers to update them on their order and service contracts.
- Liaising regularly with the Service and Projects departments in order to provide effective customer service.
- Working from the company's office in Aylesford, Kent on a Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm basis.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have;
- Accessibility via public transport or own vehicle to the company's head office in Aylesford, Kent.
- Previous experience of working in a similar role, supporting a Sales Team within an engineering environment.
- Excellent written, verbal and computer literacy skills.
- Good telephone manner and confidence to liaise with Blue-Chip clients.
This role is offering the following remuneration package;
- A basic salary of up to £25,000 per annum.
- 25 days' annual leave, plus an extra day per year for your birthday
