**The role**:
We are looking for a full time (Monday-Friday), proactive HR Advisor who will be responsible for providing accurate, concise and thorough HR advice and administration support to our team, in order to support a number of our clients across the UK.
Tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Being the first point of contact for a number of clients advising on all manner of issues relating to the employment of their staff and employee relations.
- Advising on, and managing processes of disciplinary, grievance, performance management, long term sick management and capability.
- Advising both employees and employers on contract queries and policies.
- Conducting Handbook and Contract reviews, as well as policy writing and updating templates in line with client requirements and changes to legislation.
- Updating all HR Systems as appropriate with all changes/documentation, in line with procedures.
- Undertaking regular audits on files to ensure full compliance with GDPR, regulatory requirements and Home Office.
- Supporting clients with their onboarding processes including drafting contracts of employment and carrying out pre-employment checks.
- Supporting monthly payroll and submissions
- Carrying out and advising on project work including restructures, redundancies, TUPE consultations and ad hoc training
- Advising on Early Conciliation process and negotiating on behalf of clients
You will need to be able to:
- Work on your own, and as part of a team
- Manage your own caseload
- Communicate effectively and in an adaptable way to different audiences
- Be prepared to visit clients and be situated onsite with clients at times
- Be conscientious, thorough, accountable, process driven and proactive
- Be competent with Microsoft IT packages, and various HRIS
- Be process driven, and adaptable to different and changing processes
- Work in the UK **without** requiring sponsorship
