Product Specialist

As Product Specialist, within the IT Solution product team, you will work alongside the business building product roadmaps, and backlogs and helping prioritise work and ensuring maximum value.
Your main activities will include:

- Working collaboratively with the business to ensure roadmaps and backlogs are created, defined, and understood and implemented accordingly
- Implementing change across a wide range of products, ensuring work is planned and coordinated across the wider team
- Providing business support on complex incident and problems
- Ensuring systems are monitored to ensure any specified SLA’s are met
- Analysing market and competition data to create products to match and surpass industry standards
- Helping define product requirements for the development teams and/or 3rd party suppliers to bring new products to market or to enhance existing
- Managing testing to detect and fix issues to make improvements
- Gathering feedback to further improve the product
- Tracking product performance
- Being a strong advocate of agile across the wider business
- Talking to users and gather requirements
- Communicating with various stakeholders including designers, engineers, developers, and SME’s including both internal and external stakeholders
- Managing the product lifecycle from initial request to delivery to the business
- Supporting users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
- Developing a good working knowledge of the functionality and data structures within the HC-One IT systems.
- Working as part of an agile development team
You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to demonstrate working products to the customer and to other relevant stakeholders, with experience in supporting customer needs and a great attitude for solving problems and making customers livesas easy as possible.
Ideally you will have experience in working in an agile team, with experience in the ability to prioritise work based on value against effort and to meet deadlines and excellent documentation skills covering technical elements as well as user instructions.
