We are currently looking for a **Refinish Distribution Specialist (South West of England)**. The goal of this role is to manage the performance of Axalta & U - Pol distributors in an assigned region (South West of England and South of Wales), working as a member of the local sales team.

The **Refinish Distribution Specialist (South West of England)** will work with a high sense of urgency having primary responsibility for distribution purchase target, distribution profitability and growth, demand forecasts as well as maintain the Axalta & U - Pol brand image and policy standards. Overall, the Distribution Specialist is responsible for demonstrating ownership, commitment and accountability to the assigned organisational area and its goals working in close coordination with other Sales Team roles active in the same region.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Act as the primary contact for local distributors, building strong relationships while prioritizing Axalta’s and U-Pol’s interests.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans, focusing on targets, profitability, and distribution growth for Axalta Refinish and U-Pol products.
- Collaborate with the sales team and market specialists to coordinate and execute sales strategies.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the distribution network, including new distributors and additional stock points.
- Manage end-to-end distribution needs by networking with sales, technical roles, supply chain, product groups, and customer service.
- Stay informed on industry trends to prioritize and retain current customers, effectively communicate product advantages, and ensure proper CRM software usage.

**Key requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience in the automotive refinish industry, or 5+ years in the aftersales automotive market (tire, oil business, etc.).
- Proven track record with 5+ years of sales and customer retention experience, consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
- Preferred experience in selling to or managing relationships with top-tier customers or distributors within the refinish / automotive paints or coatings industry.
- Strong business acumen, with a focus on profitability and business case building.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship-building, and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%).
