Logistics and Planning Coordinator

Main Purpose of role

To support the Head of Supply Chain in the timely delivery of internal sales orders and the management of stock.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

Working as part of the team to assist with the smooth running of the Operations department the **Logistics and Planning coordinator **will be keeping systems updated with the correct information required for the business, including liaising with other departments.

**Shipping**
- Creating and sending Commercial/pro forma documents and Serial number files
- Booking warehouse deliver slots
- Tracking Shipments within logistics partners systems
- RMA. Supporting inbound/outbound returns and repairs.
- Customs clearance and correspondence
- Request shipping quotes (best price 3 quote review) share with customer price and carrier
- Co-ordinating shipments for the office, booking, packing and tracking to delivery
- Maintaining good relationships with logistics partners
- Working with the finance team to ensure prompt and accurate invoicing
- Overseeing all internal / external shipments and provide efficient support within optimal cost control**Planning**
- Working with Head of Supply Chain & product suppliers to agree and maintain manufacturing / supply plan (MPS)
- Review daily output is on target with all suppliers using MPS and team calls
- Check MPS file has correct build to forecast and sales force opportunities
- Ensure shipment commitment dates are added into MPS by supplier
- Highlight production quality issues to QC team

**Back to back Purchase Orders**
- Creation of Purchase orders in support of Sales orders, Vendors, 3-rd Party Suppliers
- Booking in, delivered purchase orders on the company Order management system
- Support to the rest of Operations team in the creation of purchase orders as required
- monthly review of all operations purchase orders raised, follow up to closure

**CRM System - Salesforce**
- Providing comments and feedback and adding dates to ensure all interested parties are aware of Sales Order progress
- All commitment days for production builds added into SF OP#
- Tracking AWB added when closing/shipping OP#
- Add in POD
- Exporting and manipulating reports for onward communications

**Stock Management**
- Updating of all stock line movements
- Management of local stock of demo, trial units to support the wider business

**3rd Party stocking locations**
- Allocate orders - requesting dispatches, tracking to delivery
- Restock fulfilment to agreed min/max levels
- Monitoring Stock reports

**Supply Chain Reports**

Reviewing, creating and escalating various reports such as
- Shipment tracking costs
- Shortage reports
- Review E&O
- Order report
- Exposure report
- BOM Pricing variance review

**Other**
- Any additional tasks management require

Previous experience
- Knowledge of customs Incoterms, clearance procedures /HTS commodity codes
- import/export processes procedures and documentation
- Previous experience in manufacturing planning would be an advantage
- 3-rd party warehouse management
- Promote and implement Lean practices and principles across assigned functions within the organization.
- Knowledge of systems Salesforce ? Excel ?
- Excellent prioritisation and communications skills
- Can do attitude

Personal requirements
- At least 1 years’ relevant work experience
- Lives within 15 miles of High Wycombe

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
