Administrative Support Assistant

**Job Summary**:
The Administrative Support Assistant will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our clinic. This position involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the clinic's operations, including managing patient records, scheduling appointments, handling billing and insurance claims, and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Scheduling Appointments**: Manage the clinic's appointment calendar, schedule patient appointments, and send reminders.
- **Patient Records Management**: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Handle the filing and retrieval of patient documents.
- **Billing and Insurance**: Process patient billing, handle insurance claims, and follow up on outstanding payments. Assist patients with billing and insurance-related questions.
- **Administrative Support**: Provide general administrative support to the clinic staff, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and data entry.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and order office and medical supplies as needed. Ensure the clinic is well-stocked and organized.
- **Office Cleanliness**: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and administrative offices.
- **Customer Service**: Deliver high-quality customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting, is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
