**Talent Acquisition Advisor**

**(Fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave)**
- Based within our Horsham town centre office, working alongside the Talent Acquisition team and the wider HR team, you will undertake duties that will encompass the full recruitment cycle for Gallagher Bassett’s in-house recruitment. Responsible for recruitmentacross a number of sites, nationwide you will have previous experience gained from within the recruitment industry and have a hands on approach._

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Administer recruitment across all UK locations for a variety of roles, including but not limited to claims, support and client services, ranging from entry level to senior positions.
- Administer the full recruitment process including advertising, sourcing, arranging interviews, co-ordination with hiring managers and the HR Team including:

- Participation in interview process when required
- Co-ordination of assessment days
- Attend job/career fairs and events
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with hiring managers to fully understand local requirements and resourcing issues and solutions
- Regular reporting on recruitment activity, trends and other relevant information
- Reducing the use of recruitment agencies, and closely managing recruitment agency relationships when needed
- Plan and manage own day-to-day workload, taking into account priorities and established timescales
- Manage diaries, organise meetings and/or events, and make associated arrangements to ensure the smooth running of schedules.
- Receive, screen and prioritise incoming communications (written, electronic, telephone), responding or co-ordinating appropriate and timely responses.
- Contribute to the development and effectiveness of the processes and procedures used to deliver resourcing excellence.
- Various recruitment and on-boarding administration tasks
- Comply with all Gallagher Bassett and office procedures

Any other duties as required by Gallagher Bassett

**Essential Skills**:

- Previous experience and understanding of recruitment, talent management and selection practices
- Proven track record recruiting at various levels, both high volume and specialist roles.
- Up-to-date knowledge of legislation affecting recruitment and selection
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with an eye for detail
- Confident in influencing and negotiating with all levels of seniority, along with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
- Resilient in overcoming objections and a tenacious and determined attitude when faced with barriers or obstacles
- Ability to work under pressure
- Lateral thinker
- Level 3 CIPD, or actively looking to study the CIPD Course (desired but not essential)
