**UK Sales Associate - Gentle Monster**

A fashion eyewear brand based in Seoul, Gentle Monster has expanded its offices across the world including Shanghai, Singapore, New York and LA. In 2018, we opened our first European flagship store in London and currently, we are in search of a full-time Sales Associates for our Selfridges flagship concession.

Detailed responsibilities include:

- Greet customers and assist with their shopping needs.
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
- Perform glasses adjustments or repairs for customers.
- Receive and organize deliveries of stock and packages in the stockroom.
- Ensure that the store's inventory system is accurate and up-to-date.
- Work at the cashier to process transactions and handle cash, credit or debit cards.
- Keep the store, displays and merchandise organized and tidy.
- Follow instructions from the manager or supervisor to maintain the store's organization and cleanliness. Keep the store, stockroom, and other areas clean and tidy.
- Be responsible and punctual in all aspects of the job.

Requirements and skills
- A minimum of 1 year of retail experience is required.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- High interest in art, fashion and/or other creative work
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed.
- Understanding or interest in Korean practices, including working practices, fashion trends, language, and more, is preferred but not required.

Structured like conceptual spaces, Gentle Monster showcases their frames as if they are on-view in a gallery. Complete with renewing art installation, visitors are immersed in a total sensory experience. At a time where retail is seen as dead, Gentle Monster is redefining what the shopping experience should feel like.

The relentless need to evolve has also led the brand to creative endeavours like the ‘Quantum Projects’, ‘BAT Projects’, and the ‘Episode’ series. In each of these initiatives, Gentle Monster experiments with evolution in spatial, temporal, and digital realms.

*Weekend, bank holiday, and late shift availability is essential for this role. Flexibility is required.
