Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future. **About this opportunity**: We are looking to recruit an **Accounts Payable Team Leader** to deal with Supplier invoices for the Beverage plants in France, Belgium and Switzerland, which are processed in SAP using the 3 way match process. The role is based within our European Shared Services Centre in Wantage (UK) and reports to the Transactions Finance Manager European Shared Services. - Key responsibilities and accountabilities: - Manage the Accounts Payable team for French, Belgian and Swiss suppliers, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner - Check and process incoming supplier invoices in SAP using the 3 way match and direct input methods - Ensure VIM is implemented successfully and all stake holders trained to use it - Ensure invoices are approved in accordance with the current P2P policy. - Communicate with the French Plant Finance team, Business Central supply chain and Belgian corporate team to facilitate timely processing and approval of supplier invoices. - Support the team in the effective implementation of the travel expense tool "Concur". - Manage the month, quarter and year end closing process for the Manufacturing and Distribution Centres entities in SAP under the scope. - Prepare regular reports and statistics - Support of the VAT management for Switzerland - Clear the GRIR as approved - Ensure metal queries are checked against portal and raised with supply chain and reviewed in regular meetings. - Assist the Accounts Payable function in achieving the team objectives. - Ensure the process is effectively covered during holidays and absence. - Ensure SOX is adhered to by the team and checks completed for month end - Ad-hoc duties as required Essential skills and experience: - Qualified chartered accountant, with 3 to 5 years minimum of accounting experience, with accounting certification ie AAT, etc - Experience of leading a team processing high volume transactions. - Ability to communicate effectively - Ability to work and communicate effectively within a diverse cultural environment - Experience with SAP ERP system. - Experience with 3 way match Supplier Invoice processing. - Computer Literate with an interest in finance systems and MS offices Suite. - Numeracy SkillsDiligence, highly organised and deadline focus - Flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally Europe Desirable skills and experience: - Previous experience in a shared service function - Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley and USGAAP **What Crown Offers You** - The opportunity to build a career in a multi-cultural environment - To be rewarded fairly and promoted based on merit and performance - Professional and personal development through training and work experiences Strong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employees**Join us and become part of an international team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging** **Working Together** Accessibility, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are key features of Crown’s culture of Working Together.
