**ROLE OVERVIEW**
- The position of the AP Supervisor is created to provide the businesses with high quality and cost competitive supplier invoice process and management services.
- To ensure the efficient and effective running of the Accounts Payable department through automation and best practice.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Manage the Accounts Payable and Post Room teams**
- Manage the AP team effectively to achieve the agreed Levels of Service with the businesses.
- Act as the senior point of contact with suppliers and plants
- Coordinate the resolution of AP issues with plants and suppliers.
- Oversee training and development of new and existing AP staff
- Liaise with businesses to maximize year end cash flow

**AP Operations**
- Perform the monthly reconciliation of the AP Ledger to the GL across all ERP systems.
- Manage the Accounts Payable month end closing process across all ERP systems.
- Review integrity reports.
- Reconciliation and posting of intercompany netting transactions.

**SSC Management**
- Lead role in AP Transition Management (Crown Europe Transition, Shipley AP, Travel Expenses, Concur, Workflow implementation)

**Sarbanes Oxley Compliance on R2R and P2P processes**:

- Ensure SOX compliance on P2P processes and controls.
- Prepare for Sox audits and attend meetings with internal and external auditors

**Deliver Service Levels in line with Agreements**:

- Advise the businesses, organize tasks and assign actions to ensure supplier payments are made on time.
- Ensure all supplier invoices are approved in line with Company policy before released for payment.
- Manage year-end husbandry arrangements with suppliers
- Check and process employee expense claims in SAP and JDE.
- Batch, Scan, process and archive supplier invoices.
- Achieve performance targets on logged invoices. Review Key performance indicators with the SSC Manager and plants
- Timely redistribution of logged invoices

**Essential Skills**
- Desire to gain recognised APA certification
- Financial Background
- Management or Supervisory experience in medium to large organisation
- Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to analyse Financial Data

**Desirable Skills**
- Accounts Payable Association certification
- AAT Level 1 and 2
- Experience with ERP finance systems (JD Edwards / SAP)
