This is a permanent opportunity working from their Wantage Shared Service Centre as they are looking to expand due to impressive growth within the business.

Reporting the Head of AP, as the successful AP Team Leader you will be supporting the team and managing supplier invoices for sites in Spain.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Payable team for Spanish suppliers, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manager
- Check and process incoming supplier invoices in SAP
- Ensure invoices are approved in accordance with company procedures
- Liaise with the Spanish site finance teams to ensure supplier invoices and processed and approved inline with set deadlines/timescales
- Support team members with any escalated queries and to achieve team objectives
- Manage month, quarter and year-end closing processes
- Support the VAT management in Spain

Previous experience within a finance function (preferably Accounts Payable) is essential ideally with exposure to leading a team. You must also be familiar with processing high volume transactions.

Experience of SAP and similar accountancy packages are desirable, and you must be strong with Excel and Word.

As you will be managing Spanish suppliers fluency in Spanish is desirable however not essential. You must however be fluent in English.
