Are you currently working in marketing and looking for the next step in your career? We’re looking for an ecommerce assistant to join our digital marketing team based in Nottingham. In this role you will be able to develop your marketing experience through supporting the development of customer experience and engagement for our store estate of almost 600 stores nationwide.

**What can you expect from the role?**

The beauty of this role is no two days are ever the same. From learning to use Google analytics to help you understand how customers browse our website, to reviewing the top product and category pages to make sure they meet our trading performance you’ll be gaining essential skills in the digital marketing world. You’ll monitor competitor activity across owned, paid and social digital channels as well as create insightful weekly reports to demonstrate website traffic.

You’ll get involved with supporting the merchandising team with product set ups, sourcing of imagery and maintaining the product lifecycle and data across all key product categories. You’ll offer the best online experience for our customers by ensuring the site is up to date with new launches, trends and thorough regular site sweeps.

**About you**

Due to the nature of the role, we’re looking for someone who has experience of working in a digital or ecommerce role or can demonstrate an active interest in ecommerce with trading experience. You’ll bring your enthusiasm, be self-motivated and demonstrate your ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

You’ll have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ideally have experience with analysis and reporting of data. You’ll be a team player and will collaborate with teams within Vision Express and will be able to build strong working relationships.

Due to the fast-paced nature of retailrecruitment, you’ll have the ability to manage your workload effectively, have excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a positive attitude to make sure our customers are put at the heart of everything we do.
