**Senior Construction Manager - Residential developer - Berkhamsted**

**Salary - £120,000 + Package**

Our specialist recruitment team are currently working with a high-quality residential developer who are looking to attract a Senior Construction Manager in Essex and Hertfordshire. As our client tends to focus on partnership developments, project tend tobe on-going.

Our client needs someone to oversee the development of around 850 units across 2 separate sites. Site 1 will be the development of multi-story RC frame building, whilst Site 2 will be more traditional build housing**.**The role is suited for a forward-thinking individual who is experienced in overseeing the construction of either housing or apartment buildings. Also, as both projects are joint ventures, a strong ability to communicate with partners is important.

Responsibilities include:

- Monitor site performance in line with the build programme and address any issues causing delays
- Advise the Project Manager of progress and associated issues including possible solutions.
- Effectively manage the site management team and ensure they are fully resourced with clear guidelines of their own responsibilities whilst providing full support to achieve their deadlines as well as providing effective communication, training and development
- Support and provide dates for build meetings to ensure the programmes are developed accurately in accordance to legal completions and are achieved within the planned time frame
- Ensuring health and safety on site

They are looking for someone who has either experience managing multiple development sites at one time, or an experienced Project Manager looking for a step up from the day-to-days of single site management. Forward thinking is an important skill in thisrole. By not just reacting to circumstances but planning ahead will help to ensure a successful build program. You will be joining a well resourced team and be involved in exciting and prestigious projects.
