In this exciting and fast paced role, the Finance Manager will make sure there is a strong financial control and compliance environment, offer advice on how the finance function might look in the future, assist in locating potential business opportunitiesand cost savings and give the senior management team a concise and understandable overview and analysis.

Our client is an interdisciplinary design firm that offers branding, architectural, and interior design services. This company works to satisfy every client's demands through a variety of design services.

**JOB TITLE**:Finance Manager

**COMPANY**: Design Consultancy / Interior Design

**CONTRACT**:Permanent

**LOCATION**:Central London, hybrid (3 days in office)

**DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO**:

- Complete account setup up to trial balance
- Identifying and comprehending the company/project cost drivers
- Full audit and review of operations and software to verify they are appropriate for the task
- Ensure a solid invoicing process and financial controls
- Monthly single project status report and report on credit and debtors
- Implement business-wide forecasting and planning
- Monthly/quarterly project report/status
- Annual company report
- Project forecasting
- Establishing project data and analysis while collaborating with the Operations Manager
- Budgeting for capital expenditures and other responsibilities related to change management
- Staff cost analysis
- Define future finance team structure and requirements
- Ensure a solid invoicing process and financial controls
- Commercial support and advisory on pricing and tendering for new work

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED**:

- CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA qualified is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of SAGE 50 or similar software preferrable
- Competent and able to run monthly management accounts reports
- High standards for accuracy and information presentation
- Microsoft Office programme experience, including advanced Excel skills an advantage
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
- Must be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional team members at all levels
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to juggle several tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Proven ability to use comprehensive knowledge of difficult functional/technical and business challenges to processes improvement and implementation
