You will join a specialist team, receive full training in all aspects of the role and industry, and work alongside highly talented and passionate professionals. - **The Role**:_ The **Care Coordinator** is an integral part of the team, specialising in optimising the coordination of shift coverage of registered nurses and care workers for our service-users. Once fully trained and up-to-speed, you will take ownership of a growing portfolio of service-user care packages which will be required to be optimally staffed to ensure the safety of vulnerable individuals. - **Responsibilities**:_ - Recruitment of new Care Workers and Nurses. - Entering service-users' shift coverage requirements into the system. - Finding staff members (Care Assistants and Nurses) to fill the shifts. - Using your influencing skills to maximise care coverage for our service-users. - Confirming shifts with Care Assistants and Nurses and ensuring rotas are continually up to date. - Managing and organising complex rotas to ensure service-users are fully cared for. - Rearranging shift bookings (e.g. when inevitable absences occur) to ensure maximum shift coverage where necessary. - Encouraging Care Assistants and Nurses to cover extra shifts when possible. - Working at fast pace and under pressure. - Taking turn to manage the on-call service and personally providing "last-minute" care to service-users when absolutely necessary. - Involvement in the recruitment of new Care Assistants and Nurses. - Providing an excellent service at all times. - **The Person**:_ - Experience working in a hands-on care role (this is essential). - Experience in Care Coordination, managing care staff rotas and allocating shifts. - A confident persona, willing to get involved to support the wider team. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - An excellent teamwork mentality. - A genuine passion for providing top quality care to service-users. - **What’s on offer?**_ - Attractive starting salary. - Pension. - Generous additional pay for on-call duties. - A progressive meritocracy where success is rewarded. - “No ceilings” career development with ongoing reviews. - Excellent training and exposure. - Supportive working environment. - Working for Directors who really care about the people who work for Stonewood and the people we care for **Salary**: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company pension - Free parking - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - care coordination: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - right to work in the UK WITHOUT the need for Sponsorship (required) **Salary**: £27,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company pension - Free parking - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - care coordination: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - right to work in the UK WITHOUT the need for Sponsorship (required) Work Location: In person
