The Finance team support, advise and allow the business to thrive.We’re here to navigate the team through all financial decisions, big and small, from day-to-day management of cash flowand making sure everyone gets paid (very important) to owning relationships with investors, partners and other key stakeholders. We’re responsible, reliable and committed to being a trusted partner to both our colleagues and suppliers. We need you to help us: - Assistance with the preparation of the monthly accounting close ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness. - Review of month end reports, reconciliation, and management accounts - Produce month end board pack - Assist with the year-end audit. - Prepare and submit compliance reporting - ONS, UKGVCA - Assist with projects within team and wider company - Provide support & escalations for the team and wider company - Challenge and improve processes and flow of information **What you’ll need**: To be able to prioritise and organise your work To work effectively and supportively as part of a small team Great communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to influence and implement with both internal and external stakeholders The ability to set and work to deadlines High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Exposure to purchase and sales ledgers Exceptional reconciliation skills Experience of preparation of monthly management accounts and budgets ACCA/CIMA newly qualified or equivalent Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs but especially excel - vlookups and pivot tables Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 desirable **What’s in it for you?** Competitive salary Discretionary bonus scheme Opportunities to try our experiences for free Friends and family discount Virgin Tribe Membership Flexible working The View from the Shard free entry for you and your plus one **Our Purpose at Virgin Experience Days** Ordinary is everywhere, because it’s easy.
