**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each swimmer.
- Educate students on water safety practices and techniques to ensure a safe swimming experience.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate various swimming techniques and skills progression.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their abilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, or achievements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.
- Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is an advantage but not essential; training can be provided.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A genuine passion for educating others and fostering a love for swimming.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £17.11 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
