**Your New Role**:

- Use design tools to create concept sketches, user flow diagrams, low fidelity wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and interaction specifications
- Link the development of conceptual ideas into concrete designs in line with a brands identity and business strategy
- Take an ‘outside in’ design approach i.e., what does the service need to look like from an end / user customer perspective
- Provide a clear vision for improving design processes and explaining and presenting design decisions to service designers, business owners and stakeholders
- Consider the human-computer interaction element of a design
- Define interaction models, user task flows and user interface specs
- Communicate scenarios (hypothetical users), end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to other people working on a product
- Work with Service Designers to understand the macro level design to enable detailed work on user experience aspects
- Work collaboratively with the UI/UX Centre of Excellence within the central technical team
- Work with Visual Designers to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the finished product
- Work with a focus on the mobile experience and how we can preserve the experience across all devices

**About You**:

- Excellent creative design capabilities
- Experience in designing customer facing assets or services
- Experience working with UX/UI elements and design
- Working knowledge of creative design software including Adobe creative suite, Figma and Miro
- Proficiency in the development of customer journeys
- Ability to design at a conceptual (macro) and detailed level for new services being introduced for customers
- Ability to bring customer propositions to life from a service perspective
- Experience working in Digital projects or departments would be advantageous
- Capable of creating multiple design iterations and visual prototypes based on data and stakeholder feedback
- Workshop facilitation skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Thrives within a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage several projects at once
- Proactive, able to work collaboratively and deal with ambiguity
- Worked in agile team environments - being a team player
- Ability to encourage design thinking within agile projects
- Confidence to suggest improvements or new services

**What you will get in Return**:

- Salary starting from £33,165 rising to £47,990
- 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday
- Friday, with the opportunity for remote working 2 days per week.
- 5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
