**Description of the Business Line or Department**
The KH Group COO is responsible for the adequacy, efficiency, resiliency and appropriateness of the support infrastructure, complying with the local regulations and supporting business evolution whilst mitigating operational risk. Responsibilities include:
- Supervision of the Legal, Tax, Company Secretariat and Operations (OPER) functions
- Supervision of the IT Application Support (ITEC) and IT Infrastructure Services (GTS) functions
- Responsibility for oversight and monitoring of Group project management governance
- Oversight of critical outsourced services
- Responsibility for the Business Continuity Management functions
- Responsibility for management of the premises and facilities functions
- Supervision of the Operational risks first line of defence function.
**Summary of responsibilities**
- Support the Group COO discharging the COO and SMF responsibilities while ensuring that confidential matters are appropriately managed
- Lead and complete special reports, projects and strategic assignments as required
- Manage on behalf of the COO several day-to-day items such as expenses approvals, invoices processing, logistics, security exceptions approval, etc.
- Ensure all audit actions points are followed up and resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure correct mechanisms are developed to support metrics, MI and project management status
- Ensure required updates to the Head Office are delivered timely and efficiently
- Attend key relevant meetings with the COO or on behalf of the COO, capture takeaways from meetings, identify key themes and implications for the COO's consideration. Ensure follow-up with relevant stakeholders as needed
- Monitor budget and costs so to ensure improvement of the operational efficiency; review of reporting provided from DFIN, GBSU and PRIV as relevant
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and update COO owned policies as required
- Cooperate with other departments within KH and the wider SG Group notably GBSU, SGLB and PRIV management
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive through any required change.
- Embody the Code of Conduct and behavioural competency.
