We are recruiting experienced Timber Trade Desk Sales staff that are sales orientated and keen to continue to develop their career. Do you have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, delivering excellent levels of customer service and being passionate about how you develop long lasting relationships with our trade professionals? This role is an exciting opportunity for self-driven individuals who are looking to join a busy team in a business that is committed to delivering sales, safety, environmental impact and customer satisfaction.

**The Role**:

- Strive to achieve or even exceed personal sales targets
- Passionate and committed to delivering superb customer service with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Have the ability to work comfortably and accurately in a fast paced environment, a flexible approach and a professional ‘can do’ attitude
- Be able to identify how promotions can help you to sell and utilise these
- Liaising with suppliers, should a customer have a specific need
- Preparing quotes for customers, follow up and convert to sales
- Follow all Health and Safety requirements of the branch
- Able to work in any of our 10 branches

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous timber knowledge and experience with a determined attitude to drive sales
- Ability to provide high levels of customer care, customer care focused with great attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, good team player, ability to work accurately/systematically at pace
- Great verbal and written communications skills, organised and professional
- Able to multi-task and prioritise with good mathematical skills including a clear understanding of sizes and dimensions
- Full driving license and own car essential as regular travel to branches is required
