We are expanding our network of Stores across the UK and remain committed to grow and expand our local Store network to better serve our customers. Our London (Greenwich) Store is a brand new Store opening soon and is looking for a Trade Sales Counter Representative person to join the team.

**The Role**

The Trade Sales Counter Representative is the first point of contact for many of our customers. In this role you will provide outstanding customer service whilst working to sell a wide range of metal and metal related products and services to solve customers’ problems. You will enjoy a diverse role with a wide variety of contributions, support customers and work in the Store with a tight-knit team.

**Objectives**

The Trade Sales Counter Representative will work within a team environment. This individual is expected to be focused on sales targets and to conduct him/herself in a professional manner conducive to generating a team attitude toward maintaining effective customer relationships.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Provide superior customer service by ensuring that a high level of customer service and satisfaction is always maintained
- Support the achievement of defined sales targets using Metal Supermarkets POS sales system
- Effectively build new customer relations and manage existing customer relationships through effective quote management and selling including managing delivery and stock requirements
- Ensure delivery and stocking requirement and expectations are met through organising some purchasing
- Working within your team you will assist with some material handling and metal processing in order to deliver outstanding customer service
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with the use of computers
- Self-motivated with an acumen for sales and a passion for customer satisfaction
- One year of customer support experience
- Trade counter experience would be an advantage
- Metal and metal related product knowledge is a definite asset but not required
- Perform other duties as directed by the Assistant or Store Manager

**What’s in it for you?**
- Very competitive hourly rate of £11.75/hr equivalent to £25,662 pa
- Generous incentive bonus. On target incentive £300 to £400+ per month, equivalent to up to £3600-4800 pa
- Working 40 hours per week, plus you will be required to work 4 hours every second Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Shifts are typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
