Ideally for this Trade Counter role we need someone who has experience working within a builder merchants’ environment, used to dealing with builders, contractors and a good knowledge of building products and to assist in other areas of the business i.e. in the Yard, If necessary. Full training and development will be given, however we need someone who can hit the ground running. Experience working on the Trade Counter within a Roofing & builder’s merchants would be ideal.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Dealing with customers over the telephone
- As a Counter Sales Advisor, you will responsible for serving our customers and building relationships to generate sales
- Customers queries & orders are processed accurately
- Ensuring the efficient processing and follow-up of customer enquiries
- Assisting with Trade Counter Sales and Enquiries
- Maintaining effective communications with our suppliers regarding the sourcing and delivery of products.

This is a customer facing role within the fast-paced builders’ merchants. Dealing with builders that come into the branch. Working on the Trade Counter requires excellent customer service skills and proactive attitude.

**Key Criteria**
- Preferably proven track record of internal sales in the Roofing / Builder’s /Construction sector
- Preferably customer service experience within a Hardware or Builder Providers environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service

**Working days are Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm**
**With alternating Saturdays. Start time 7am Finish time 11am**
**PAY RATE £13.00 per hour**
