Are you an Infrastructure Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineers to join our team. This role requires someone to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting a large, complex legacy estate. The highly motivated engineer will join a team of experienced Infrastructure Engineers.This is a role where knowledge is openly shared and solutions are driven as a team. There is a mixture of BAU activities and a large project pipeline, requiring multi-disciplined engineer, with a proven project track record. The role will involve working as part of a team; assisting with planning, design and commissioning of new clientrequirements. We can offer great career progression opportunities, ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs and, training and development opportunities. **What you will be doing**: - To provide 3rd Line support to Sopra Steria clients. - To deliver ITIL driven support via "Incident, Problem, and Change ". - Engaging in pre-sales activities to scope out potential solutions. - Accurately assess effort and cost involved with implementation. - Engage in design workshops to shape new solutions. - Have an active role in delivering new solutions to our clients. - Be involved in new customer wins, transitions, transformations. **What you’ll bring**: - Knowledge of shared storage infrastructure - Netapp 7mode/Cdot - Knowledge of Netapp tooling including Snapmanger and Snapcenter products, Snapvault and snapmirror replication technologies - Experience configuring and troubleshooting block and NAS protocols - ISCSI, NFS, SMB - Extensive experience in supporting Windows Server 2003- 2016. - Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / PowerShell / Group Policies - Supporting a large VMware estate, VSphere 5.5 -6.5 - An understanding of Linux **it would be great if you had**: - Cloud (AWS; Azure) - Batch/PowerShell - Office 365 If you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we’re looking for, please do apply, we’d love to hear from you **Full time permanent** **Location** Hybrid Variable - Manchester **Security Clearance Level**BPSS **Internal Recruiter** Soraya **Salary** £35,000 - £40,000 **Benefits** - 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund **Loved reading about this job and want to know more about our company?** Our Specialist Private Sector team are experienced in a range of different markets including Banking, Insurance, Retail, Travel, Transport and Utilities.
