**The 3rd Line Support Engineer position involves**:
The 3rd Line Support Engineer role will work as part of a team to deliver effective solutions to escalated technical issues and a high level of technical expertise to the business. This position involves delivering new technical solutions ensuring effectiveworking across the full range of services provided by the business that can’t be resolved by 1st and 2nd Line teams.

The 3rd Line Support Engineer will work with technologies such as, VMWare, Exchange, AD, Windows Server, Cloud, Veeam, Imperva, Office 365 etc. The position is involved in investigating problems; identifying and providing root cause analysis within the specificSLA, ensuring a high first-rate response target is achieved and proactively updating the customer through to conclusion.

**Day to day, the 3rd Line Support Engineer will**:

- Support multi-site technical environments including Backups, Microsoft, VMWare, Exchange, AD, Office 365, Azure, AWS
- Take ownership of escalated issues as 3rd line support and resolving any queries within SLA
- Provide root cause analysis and resolution of configuration and deployment issues,
- Keep customers updated throughout the process up to closure of the ticket
- Ensure all parties are kept informed when action impacts other teams

**We require the 3rd Line Support Engineer to have**:

- A good technical background with solid experience of VMWare, MS Exchange, AD, Azure, Office 365, Windows Server
- An understanding of the full web technology stack (network, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, HTTP/S)
- A broad technical skillset and be keen learn new technologies including working with Cloud technology
- A strong customer service ethos and passion for resolving queries to a high stand within SLA’s.
- Some exposure to most of the following technologies:

- Desktop Applications including Exchange, AD, Windows Server
- Unix/Linux
- VMWare
- Office 365
- Backup software - (Veeam is ideal)
- Storage replication and multi-site storage deployments
- Azure
- AWS
- ATP
