**Contract type**:Casual contract
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week, 5 over 7 days as required including all match days.
**Report to**: Venue Manager
**Department**: Venue
**Responsible for**:Delivery of venue bookings and assisting with delivery of match day hospitality where required.
**Job purpose**: To execute all non-matchday events & functions. Assisting the delivery on all match day hospitality.
**PRINCIPLE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Foster a positive, values driven culture, ensuring staff at all levels across the organisation are encouraged to succeed and prosper.
- Ensure all non-matchday events are delivered to the highest of standards, managing and exceeding customers and client expectations.
- Ensure the venue department maintains an exceptional level service and cleanliness to its customers both internal and external.
- Work as part of the venue team, managing and delivering the numerous elements of the department.
- Assist to maximise the availability and profitability of the venue for all events and functions.
- Identify and execute on opportunities to streamline operational processes and systems.
- Manage and maintain relationships between both front and back of house to ensure all events run smoothly and efficiently.
- Welcoming customers and being responsible for their journey during an event or function.

- Building and maintaining lasting relationships with regular clients and customers.
- Ensure safeguarding is at the forefront of day to day, reporting any issues necessary.
- Liaising directly with relevant departments of the club, delivering key organisational information to ensure a joined up and high-quality service is delivered for customers, maximising the potential of the venue.

- A strong background in leading and managing a team, within a hospitality environment.
- Excellent business acumen, with experience in understanding financial accounts and the analysis of financial information.
- Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at an all levels.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships.
- Experience in driving high standards of service and performance within team members.
- A willingness and ability to work flexibly in a friendly, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrable willingness to be agile and hands on when necessary.
- Self-motivated and able to act on initiative.
- Able to work outside office hours as suits the venue needs.
