**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**JOB TITLE**: Group Purchase Ledger Clerk
**REPORTS TO**: CFO/Group FC
**HOURS OF WORK**: Full-time (May consider flexible working options broadly aligned to school holidays)
**LOCATION**:Oxford
**REMUNERATION**: Oxford £25,000-£28,000 Full time
The Group Purchase Ledger Clerk will provide bookkeeping and financial administration support to the Chatsworth Schools finance team and is a great opportunity to join a dynamic growing group of independent Schools and Nurseries.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Checking and coding entry of supplier invoices.
- Preparing and processing supplier payment runs.
- Aged creditor report maintenance including payment allocations.
- Basic further bookkeeping for the small nurseries.
- Point of contact for supplier queries.
- Liaise with staff in the schools and nurseries.
- Validate new and changed supplier bank details.
- Managing a high volume of data entry.
- Periodic reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Processing staff expenses and company credit card statements.
- Post prepayments and accruals as required, depending on experience.
**Experience and skills**:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Good experience of accounting software and systems.
- Sage 200 knowledge beneficial.
- A good level of knowledge of Word and Excel
- Good attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter mentality.
- Organised and able to prioritise.
- Collaborative approach and personable disposition
