**Role: Provision Coordinator**
To coordinate Provision referrals, placements, assessments and progress across the organisation. With focus on Alternative Provision, Holiday Provision, Family fun and Youth Provision, your role will be to ensure Stomping Grounds provides meaningful and appropriate placements for young people, in line with our mission and values
- To work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the lead and support delivery team are well managed
- To carry out initial assessments of Alternative Provision referrals, with support from the practitioner team, to ensure appropriate matching of practitioner, support and session
- To monitor and develop weekly timetable and make rota changes where necessary
- Carry out multi-team reviews of progress of young people
- Attend and contribute to Education Health Care (EHC) assessments and Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) reviews, using observations from practitioners to provide information to local authorities and schools
- To support on quality a non assurance reviews with local authorities and other commissioners
- To work closely with schools, parents/carers and other commissioners to ensure provision meets the needs of the young person and contributes to a holistic package of support
- Compile daily attendance registers and share with local authorities/school
- To work closely with the Designated Safeguarding lead to ensure young people are safe within their sessions
- To work closely with the Advanced Practitioner team to ensure Alternative Provision is of a high quality and that lead practitioners and support are given the opportunities to develop their skills
- To carry out other duties compatible with the role purpose as reasonably required or as directed.
- To coordinate our Holiday Activity across multiple North East sites, including staff rotas, collection of evaluation data, support with submitting funding bids, communicating with funders and the recruitment and safeguarding of young people.
- Embodies Stomping Grounds mission in values when communicating internally and externally and when making decisions
- Strong IT skills and able to manage online systems
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to manage own time and work reactively and effectively in a fast paced and ever changing environment
- To be able to respond to immediate safeguarding and safety needs and to delegate or pass information to the right people in a timely manner
- To work collaboratively both internally and externally to best meet the needs of the young people accessing the provision
- Experience of working with children and young people from a variety of backgrounds, including those who have experienced trauma, are care experienced, neurodivergent and unable to access school
- Experience of delivery to groups of children and young people
- Experience of working with multi-disciplinary services to best meet the needs of young people and families
- An understanding of SEN, EHCPs, local offer and alternative provision in the North East
- Experience of managing teams of people
Flexible working arrangement can be discussed with a minimum of 2 days per week working in the Office in Chopwell.
Reporting to the Operations Manager
28K FTE, 35 hours per week,
