**OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
To be responsible for the efficient maintenance requirements throughout the Hotel with regards to Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments - leasing with the Management and outside contractors (where applicable). To ensure all work is carried out in priority order, to satisfy all Health, Safety, Fire Regulations, to be cost effective and to the highest standards possible.

**Requirements for a Maintenance Assistant;**
- Friendly, outgoing and motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.
- Excellent personal appearance and hygiene standards.
- Inspirational leadership skills.
- Great attention to detail Knowledge of industry related regulations.
- To maintain a high standard of internal and external customer care by responding to guest requests and requirements, communicating respectfully with colleagues and other departments.
- Experience in Hospitality system such as Agility preferred but not essential
- Track record of delivering results through exceptional service standards
- Attention to the smallest detail
- A passion for hospitality and great customer service Friendly, courteous, and helpful, with excellent communication skills
