**The Role**
Our HR function plays a key role in the smooth running of our Council, and we have an exciting opportunity for a part time HR Advisor to join our team. This is a hybrid working role, across our sites based primarily in Kidderminster.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and this role is key in supporting the delivery of the People and Organisation Development Strategy. As an HR Advisor at Wyre Forest District Council you'll enjoy the opportunity to get involved in the day-to-day challenges of HR, whilst working on lots of exciting forward-thinking projects.
A typical day working as a HR Advisor may include:
- Providing first line HR advisory services regarding employee relations.
- Supporting managers across the Council in people management
- Supporting managers with absence management.
- Handling maternity and paternity request.
- Assisting with the updating of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Managing HR information systems for data and statistical analysis.
**Special Conditions**
This is a part time (20 hours per week) two-year fixed term role, at (£32,564 - £35,348 per annum, pro rata £19,538 - £21,208 per annum).
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is essential
The post is open to hybrid working.
