European SEO Lead

**Role and Responsibilities**
**Your Key Responsibilities**:
- Support on elevating SEO programme within the European region
- Drive strategic approach for programme growth, specifically D2C revenue growth across Mobile, TV and Digital Appliance categories.
- Drive the utilisation of SEO keyword research and insights data to guide the development of tailored content from areas across the business
- Deliver standard methodology based on specialist knowledge
- Develop and roll out standard methodology processes, governance and reporting for SEO performance across Europe
- Development of cases for new investments and proving value.
- Lead 33 countries (17 Subs) to educate them on SEO, and help convince them of the benefits, by constantly demonstrating return on investment and funnel improvements
- Consultation and support for subsidiaries with regards to support, programme optimisation, standard methodology and strategy improvement
- Drive European regional strategic priorities and standard methodology with HQ teams
- Lead SEO operations within broader European dotcom publishing SSO team
- Regional leadership and guidance: chair half yearly SEO Forums and regular meetings with all 17 Samsung European subsidiaries including: agenda setting, content collation, insights and activities sharing and presenting guidance across Europe.
- Drive programme maturity, balancing short-medium term revenue growth opportunities with longer term strategic opportunities across the marketing funnel
- Ensure Samsung keeps pace with innovations in SEO industry standard methodology
- Drive continuous improvement by developing a test and learn approach to identify new insights and areas for improvement and support local teams to implement this across Europe.
- Lead SEO reporting tool provider and agencies, other European marketing and product functions, global/regional/local product teams, HQ and local marketing teams within the European Subsidiaries to bring them together to deliver impactful and results oriented activities
- Partner management: in order to successful develop and implement a campaign strategy, you’ll need to develop a positive relationship with a range of internal and external partners including senior management in HQ and EO, local SEO teams and regional product teams.

- A mix of strategic, analytical and technical strengths, strong delivery focus and the ability to be an influencer among partners.
- Strong experience in technical and content driven SEO (10 years)
- Demonstrable experience of driving successful SEO Programmes
- Proven experience in marketing across a range of product categories including Mobiles, TVs, Digital Appliances and Monitors.
- Significant experience of influencing customers and handling complex partner relationships
- Strong critical thinking
- Analytical skills with proven track record of using performance data to provide compelling business insights in a digital environment
- An ability to connect with people, using a range of influence skills to get results
- Strong collaboration within complex matrix organisation and external partners
- Documentation skills: deliver data analysis and reports clearly and persuasively.
- Confident presentation skills: be able to present strategies and results to key decision makers.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task successfully and operate within budgetary and timeline constraints
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to be proactive without always having clear direction.
- Extreme resilience and able to deal with constant change at pace
- High levels of commitment, flexibility, initiative and problem solving to successfully navigate business challenges and time bound requests from senior management.
