**Overview**
We are seeking an innovative, creative thinker, with a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge of the Social Media landscape - including content ideation, execution of social-first campaigns, building and engaging communities, social listening,and reporting, planning and publishing algorithms and a passion for the latest technologies and innovations.
You live and breathe social. Possession of strong copywriting skills and creative flair is paramount. Organisation and attention to detail must be second to none and will ensure flawless delivery of social-first campaigns and initiatives. You will be resultsdriven, analytical and an expert communicator. You will be responsible in supporting the execution of our strategy across social platforms. You will take the lead in working with team members to develop and execute world-class social-first content.
- Responsible for planning, managing, creating and publishing content consistent with Benefit Cosmetics’ social media strategy and objectives
- Work closely with Digital Manager in the development and execution of Benefit’s social media strategy
- Responsible for measurement and analysis of social media performance against aggressive KPIs
**Responsibilities**
**Duties include**:
- Accountable for the planning and execution of organic social media content calendars across all Benefits Cosmetics UK’s social platform working closely with Digital Assistant, Paid Social and wider marketing team to support local and global business objectives
- Alongside Digital Manager, lead team in producing content for use across all social channels, including photography, video and LIVEs
- Work in a strategic, 360 way with Digital Manager and Paid Digital Coordinator to ensure all organic and paid social activity is cohesive and working to aligned goals/KPIs
- With Digital Manager and Paid Digital Coordinator, lead in planning campaign strategy and creating social content for all new product launches, brand campaigns and events, briefing in wider team members, ensuring pre-agreed timings are adhered to, workingclosely with agency partners
- Partner closely with the Ecommerce team to ensure that content produced to maximise ROAS across the brand Ecomm channels and that the social channels work in parallel to support Ecommerce activity and strategy
- Support in managing requests and execution of content for instore/event digital screens
- Work with video production agency on larger video projects, including briefing, collaborating on production, overseeing creative and managing the approval process
- Work with PR team to ensure press and influencer content and deliverables are fully optimised
- Work with Etail Managers to execute third party retailer social content strategy, building and maintaining relationships with social teams, collaborating on content ideas, and working on joint activities to support product launches and drive awareness andsales
- Responsible for supporting team in daily monitoring and community management of Benefits Cosmetics UK’s social media channels
- Support moderation to ensure all user generated content falls within community standards
- Work with Customer Services to ensure that customer communications via social media are consistent
- Working with data and reporting tools, continually monitor and review performance, leading completion of monthly and quarterly reports
- Identify and communicate opportunities to optimise performance
- Utilise learnings to improve commercial selection and decision making
- Report back to the business regularly on the performance of all social media channels
- Research and integrate new tools into the monitoring process as required
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all relevant business stakeholders, ensuring social media plans, activities and interests are communicated and championed as part of all commercial plans
- Manage junior digital position and ensure an excellent standard of quality for the brand’s social media output
**Qualifications**
**Required Competencies**
- At least 4+ years’ experience in social media (brand or agency experience is advantageous)
- A solid understanding of social media and content creation
- Be passionate about social and have a creative flair
- Previous experience creating social-first content
- Experience in managing social campaign from concept to end
- Confidence and experience with video editing software and/or Photoshop is advantageous
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Passionate about the customer and all elements of the customer experience
- Confident, energetic and enthusiastic
- Ability to multi-task and meet simultaneous tight deadlines
- Excellent communications skills and ability to build relations
- Team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude
**Please note that whilst this position will be based in our Covent Garden PR office, we do offer a flexible working policy which means that up to 60% of your hours will be based from the office and 40% of your hours can be based from home.
