We are looking for someone for a 12 month maternity cover contract to work in our Human Resources Department, based in Raydon, Essex (car driver essential due to location and possible travel to other sites).

Perhaps you have previous experience as an HR Administrator and/or are CIPD Level 3 qualified and are looking to gain some valuable experience within an HR environment.

**The role**

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant will provide administration support, including liaising with the Recruitment team to produce offer letters and contracts of employment, maintaining the HRIS and employee files. The role holder will also provide assistance with the administration of the monthly payroll.

You will be a point of contact for internal colleagues with HR enquiries, and work closely with line managers to provide guidance and support on a range of HR activities.

**Build on your experience**

You will already have experience in a similar (or admin) role and are ready to take the next steps into a HR generalist position, perhaps having gained CIPD Level 3 or working towards this. If you have a strong interest in HR and have an admin background this could be the opportunity for you.

You must have a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and used to delivering great customer service and support to colleagues. You will be a strong communicator and team player with the confidence to work with people at all levels.

Previous experience of using a HRIS will be beneficial but not essential. Strong skills in Word and Excel are required and you must be able to multitask and prioritise your workload effectively.

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
