We have an exception role for you, in the position of**Theatre Purchasing / Materials Co-Ordinator**

**The Impact you will have**:This role reports directly into the Supply Chain Theatre Lead and you will work closely together to provide a Materials Management Service to The Princess Grace Hospital theatres; co-ordinating the ordering of medical / surgicalproducts and equipment or services and the efficient and cost-effective management of the allocated theatre inventories.In this role you will learn from our leading experts and will contribute the vital care of our patients, as a valued member of the HCAGroup.

**You will have the opportunity to:**
- Be responsible for the efficient running of the materials management needs for the allocated Theatre Inventories. The processing of Purchase Orders, receipts of goods into the clinic, returns and the issues of goods to the departments.
- Working in conjunction with the Materials Team to provide a fully integrated Materials service to all departments at the Princess Grace Hospital.
- To co-ordinate the day to day management of stock control functions within theatres. Reviewing and maintaining Inventory levels, reorder points, order quantities, stock rotations, stock locations, descriptions, management of the exchange cart routine, andrevenue capture.
- Liaise and communicate with the theatre staff regarding their requirements for goods and services, following best practice with regards to segregation of duties; including information of any vendor / supplies issues which could jeopardise the theatre operation.
- To co-ordinate and meet standardisation compliance for products agreed by sites, EU Directives, upgrade in technology or change in clinical practice.
- To manage departmental product Invoice approval and payments with agreed minimum quantity variance queries ensuring cash flow for Suppliers for business continuity.

**Ideally we are looking for someone who has;**
- Good level of education and / or working towards a Purchasing Qualification would be desirable.
- You will have 3+ years’ experience in Materials management with strong preference for a medical surgical products or Theatre background.
- Computer / software knowledge including MS Excel and Word Intermediate.
- Health and Safety Training.
